Minnesota Fuel Tax Increased on July 1
Minnesota State Fuel Tax increased from 27.5 cents per gallon to 28.0 cents per gallon beginning 7/1/11. Beginning with the year starting July 1, 2012, the rate will be determined by the commissioner of revenue. However, the rate cannot be higher than 28.5 cents per gallon under the provisions of the laws of 2008, chapter 152.
